Mid-autumn Festival Symposium (2018) for foreign teachers and students was held in the Executive Office Building on September 26th. President Qu Guangqing, Vice Secretary of Party Committee Lin Wei, all foreign teachers and students, together with relevant officials in their colleges, showed up for the symposium.
The university initiated the recruitment of foreign students in 2009. Students from U.S.A, Canada, Russia, Brazil, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sudan, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Angola, Zambia, Egypt and other countries have been enrolled so far. The activity of Search for my Chinese Root for Chinese descendants from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia has also been undertaken by the university for eight years in succession since 2011. Besides, the International Seafarer Training Programs for countries along The Belt and Road have been implemented since 2016. (Office of Foreign Affairs)
